Urban Emissions and the Air Quality Life Index are co-organizing a one-day workshop focused on unpacking the data and modeling requirements for air quality management. This workshop is a beginners course designed to provide an understanding of the following topics:

  • Primary data requirements for building an air pollution emissions inventory
  • Survey tools for collecting data for emissions inventories
  • Equations used to calculate emissions
  • Modeling air pollution concentrations based on emissions and meteorological data
  • Estimating health impacts from pollution concentrations

If you’re new to emissions and air quality modeling and want to deepen your understanding of the links between pollution emissions, concentrations, and their impacts, this workshop is for you.
